icon Transparent Solar Heat Blocking Safety Glass (Energy Saving Glass)

Since nanoparticles can provide spectrally selective light absorption with minimal scattering, they can be used as additives to laminated glass interlayer to reduce solar heat gain. The cutting edge technology which uses UV curable adhesive interlayer containing ceramic nanoparticles, turns normal glass into a solar heat blocking glass laminates while maintaining high transparency. The systems that transmit in the visible but block near infrared radiation (NIR) between the wavelengths of 750nm to 1400nm are said to be spectrally selective solar control glass in that they have low transmission in the NIR range, where almost half of the total solar irradiance occurs, but have higher transmission in the visible wavelength range (380nm-750nm).

icon Fire Resistant Glass

Soluce-FR is a fire resistive glass with radiant heat blocking performance. Soluce-FR products have been tested to the stringent wall standard and therefore are considered a transparent wall. All products provide additional features including UV blocking, noise reduction, and impact resistance while maintaining high transparency.

Proper installation methods and fire-rated frames are mandated by UL for all Soluce-FR products. For general glazing installation guidelines, refer to the Glass Association of North America (GANA) Glazing manual 2004 or latest edition.

icon Heated Glass

Soluce-HG is a heated glass which radiates warmth with adjustable temperature control. An architectural window unit with Soluce heated glass will remain free of condensation even in 100% humidity. Plus, it will contribute warmth and comfort to the room, rather than steal them.
In order to manufacture heated glass, Soluce uses an ordinary pane of float glass with an invisible fluoride doped tin oxide coating during the fabrication process. Two buss bars are attached to the coating on glass pane.

When the glass is turned on, an electrical current travels from one buss bar to the other across the fluoride doped tin oxide coating. Electrical resistance results in heat energy, which radiates from the glass. Since the electrical resistance is uniform across the entire glass surface, so is the glass temperature.

icon Translucent Rear Projection Screen Glass

This translucent rear-projection screen glass is a high-contrast diffusing screen with a super wide viewing angle that is made of glass or special polymer panes optionally. Soluce-R differs from conventional rear-projection screens in that:

Soluce-R Screen Glass allows viewers to look at a remarkably vivid and bright images from the rear side, even in a brightly lit environment. Soluce-R screen glass products consist of glass and are thus a lot more durable. The surface can be written on - even permanent markers do not cause any lasting damage.
Light diffusing layer laminated between glass panes transmits and diffuses the incident light at a translucent state. It performs high-contrast, super wide viewing angle, and sharp picture. Due to the laminated glass, breakage do not produce any problems.
